 John Machin
Qualifications:
Member of the Institute of Chartered Managament Accountants, BSc Hons in Plant Science and Microbiology (The University of Nottingham)
Experience & specialisms:
He has considerable experience working in large and small businesses. He started his working life as a brewer working for the Black Sheep Brewery and then went on to work as an accountant for Tesco and a Granada subsidiary, before forming Machin Accounting in 2003. He has worked closely with many owner-managed businesses and gets a boost from helping them succeed.
Outside work:
John likes to spend time with his wife, son and daugher, travelling and visiting breweries.
 Emily Deakin
Qualifications:
Emily is studying for her AAT exams. She has recieved her Bookkeeping Level 1 qualification. She also has a Business AS Level qualification.
Experience & specialisms:
She is an independant, hardworking and enthusiastic team player. Emily enjoys meeting and working with new people. She has good people skills and is organised and enthusiastic.
Outside work:
Emily likes to go sailing and skiing. She also enjoys socialising with her friends.
 Helen Machin
Qualifications:
Member of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, BA Hons in European Business and Economics (Anglia Polytechnic University).
Experience & specialisms:
She trained as an accountant at Tesco, where she worked in primarily international roles for 4 years she worked there. She then went onto work for smaller companies playing a more varied role. rienceconsiderable experience working in large and small
Outside work:
Helen likes spending time with family and friends.
